In mid November 2009, Lysaght was honored to be one of the few sponsors of the International Symposium on Railway Stations in Wuhan 

The seminar was organized by the State Ministry of Railway and attendees included 400 representatives from design institutions, general contractors and key government officials. Eleven sponsor companies were invited to attend the seminar and were provided with separate areas to showcase their products and solutions. We were delighted when Lysaght China was one of the companies selected.

The Lysaght Regional Sales Managers attended the seminar. During the first three days of the seminar, Lysaght showcased reference projects and cladding solutions and this attracted significant attention from all attendees. This segment has been very important to Lysaght and to the end of November 2009, Lysaght’s order intake from the Public Building sector has accounted for 44% of the total order intake.

Lysaght has been successful in winning a number of key railway station projects including; Xi’an North Railway Station, Fuzhou South Railway Station, Fujian Zhangzhou Railway Station, and Wenzhou South Railway Station.
